Upon completing our program, the students qualify to take the following exam , and upon passing may apply to become licensed massage therapists in the State of South Dakota.

At this time most of the states in the United States have set requirements for licensure of massage therapists.  The State of South Dakota requires a minimum of 500 hours of training.  Here at the Springs Bath House School of Massage Therapy we have chosen to offer a 650 hour program for our basic curriculum, which we feel will better prepare our students for passing their state licensing exams, as well as for building a successful massage therapy career.  To see the rules and regulations regarding massage therapy in South Dakota, please see the South Dakota Board of Massage Therapy's website at http://www.state.sd.us/doh/massage.

ur goal is to teach our students to become professional massage therapists, good enough to help our profession grow.  650 hours is the minimum amount that we feel is necessary to teach the basics of massage therapy.  We take pride in knowing that we teach a strict curriculum that rivals other states’ education levels.

Springs Bath House School of Massage Therapy is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as  a continuing educatio
n Approved Provider.   We are also an NCBTMB Assigned School.  For more information, see the NCBTMB's website.

The Springs Bath House School of Massage Therapy has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2007 and is currently a member in good standing.

Our highly trained staff is dedicated to supporting the development of our students. Our instructors and support staff use proven methodologies and a highly effective curriculum. We regularly participate in professional development in order to improve our skills and offer a better learning experience for our students.

“At the Springs Bath House School of Massage Therapy I believe it is an honor to train others into a profession I personally consider sacred and very much needed in our world today.  I also believe the best way for you to know if this is the school for you would be to call for an appointment to come meet us, see our school, and if possible, meet students or graduates and even get a massage from one of them….We also encourage you to check out other schools in the area to find your best match."
